2014年3月，JEDEC 發行 A 版 JEP 153，JEP 153A:2014, 熱應力試驗櫃(爐)溫度特性建立與監視(Characterization and Monitoring of Thermal Stress Test Oven)

前一版發行時間為2008年1月，JEP 153A 規定有關溫度試驗櫃符合熱應力試驗程序規定的要求，齊一與可再生的證實方法。
A版改版重點：

• 將「標準」稱法改為「刊物」、「輪廓」修訂為「輪廓參考點」等文字修訂。
• 增加接面溫度計算式
  

適用的試驗設備包括：

• 單區溫度循環試驗櫃
• 二區溫度循環試驗櫃
• 固定式對流爐，有偏壓或無偏壓
• 固定式冷凍櫃
• 輸送帶式回流爐（預處理用）
  

此程序不適於熱板系統、溫濕度櫃或HAST櫃。
